Asia-Pacific Electone Festival 2011

Asia – Pacific Electone Festival (APEF) an annual competition in Electone Music. The various Yamaha Music School from the Asia-Pacific region take turns to host this event. The origin of the Electone Festival dates back to 1964 in Japan to showcase the skills and talents of Electone virtuosos.

This year, Singapore will be hosting the APEF. It will feature contestants from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore. These outstanding contestants will be competing on the Yamaha Electone Stagea. The first prize winner of the APEF Open Age section will move on to the Yamaha Electone Concours Final Audition.

Being the host country this year, Yamaha Singapore has specially arranged to bring in MAX TAKANO, YASUYA TOMIOKA and KENAN LOUI WIDJAJA as guest artistes. I have embed two videos below and hope you will enjoy it.
