Some of my students are still at a lost on how to buy the Stagea data online and a few of you also asked me to buy on your behalf, but my answer is NO, because as a teacher I don't wish to give you the fish but rather to teach you how to fish instead.
Please download the detailed instruction on 'Guide to buying Stagea data online' and print it out for easy reference.
Or you may prefer the online help instruction from the 'Electone Zone'.

Hi Mr Ng, I am writing on behalf of my education website, Studee.
ReplyDeleteI would like to enquire if you would be interested in a partnership with us, perhaps to talk about teaching/learning music to our target readership of Singapore students?
If you would be interested, please feel free email me at clarence.goh@studee.com.sg
thanks!

Hi Thommy,
DeleteYes, the guide was done a few years back and many things have changed.
Kindly find the link for the new guide below: http://dennis-yamaha.blogspot.sg/2012/06/how-to-search-stagea-data.html?showComment=1350055498730
Hi Dennis,
ReplyDeleteI'm a user for EL 100 and I recently bought a book from Amazon JP. I'm not sure how I should obtain the data (since I don't have a stagea) that is usable for my Electone. I don't understand Japanese and T'm totally lost :(
Hi Jo,
ReplyDeleteFloppy disk is a obsolete technology, I don't know if you are able to buy the usual FD data anymore.
All my students had been upgraded to the new STAGEA and as far as I know, you can only purchase the STAGEA's data online.
My advice to you is "Look ahead and never look back, keep up your pace with the technology". Looks like upgrading to STAGEA is the way to go in this situation.
Let me know if you are interested to trade in your EL100, I can recommend you a reliable dealer to assist you.
Hi Dennis Ng,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Yong, an electone player from Thailand. I love to play electone. I often buy registration data for electone Stagea for more than 4 years from Yamaha's website. However, since 1 Jun 2015, the old yamaha's website for buying registration program closed and there is a new website,https://yamahamusicdata.jp/ ,which replace the old one. Everything seems alright for buying process that is almost as same as the old website except the step ,which is for paying money for buying registration data by credit card, doesn't accept my credit card. I checked the status of my credit card with the bank and they said no problem with my credit card. May you advise me how to solve the problem with this new site?
Hello Yong,
DeleteThank you for dropping by and I have no ideas regarding your issue.

Hi Dennis, I used to own EL700 and have just upgraded to ELS-02C. I'm trying to look for books. In the past, the books i bought always come in diskettes. Need your advice. For books that mention ELS-02c, do they come with USB registration data? Here's one of the books I'm looking at: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4864615322?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=AN1VRQENFRJN5
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
Hi Dan,
DeleteYes, please note that all Electone books do not come with the Floppy Diskettes anymore, you need to purchase the registration data separately.
