ReplyDeleteYou see, there are two issues here: The songs and the players.
Let's consider the level of difficulty of the songs 1st. The 1st song has mamy syncopation that were not easy to handle. The 3rd song has difficult left hand part, lots of Triple notes and rhythm was tricky too. The 2nd song is the most easy one with simple rhythm and moderate tempo or rather too slow to me.
Now, let's look at how the 3 players fair. The skill and technique of the 1st player can not handle his song well, and do you notice that he had some slips on his right hand? The 2nd player was very neat and clean, very focused too, I can not spot any mistake from this song, a steady performer. The 3rd player has lots of potential, do not forget that she was playing a tough song, she had shown confidence, accuracy, showman-ship, and best of all, she had memorized her song, the BEST player definately has got to be her.

ReplyDeleteI like the third song. But the second song was played quite well . In the third song , the person played a wrong note or extra note at (3.27) or (3.28) .
ReplyDeletethe one that played the song on "pirates of the caribbean"was good.I find the song nice and it make you feel like you are in a adventure.You got to play very fast but their are some wrong note.

ReplyDeleteall three players are reasonably good when considering the age of the players.the third one esecially as she did not make any sifnificant mistakes, did not have to use the score and was very creative in wearing the pirate suit. the second one who was playing the moderate sng was ok but it did not really strike up anything within me; there was nothing unique in the song. the third one was ok but i believe that he made some mistakes in the intro(tempo mistakes?). nevertheless all were excellent and played well. by vignesh
ReplyDeleteNo 2 is best to me because its the only song im familiar with:D No 2 and 3 played well, I can't really decide whose a better player as to me they are both on par.No 1 needs more practice in his tempo its too fast and dosent match the beat. But still he could play very well apart from that :D

I think that NO 3 is the best he had very good expressions. No 2 is second because although it was good i think it is too slow and NO 1 i think the rythem is too fast for him -JunHui
