I'm more interested in seeing the veteran players like Reiko Kashiwagi, Yoshitaka Mihara or the Funky Fox duo coming to perform in Singapore. I think their arrangements are really top of the line.

It was a pity that Reiko was here only as a judge for the APEF and didn't try her hand at a song or two. T_T

Chua Jie Min: Great expression throughout! Hmm, but maybe your touch is a bit too gentle for the final repetition of the main chorus? If you're a fan of Utada, try listening to the way she sings the final chorus to bring it out. ^^

Anna: Good rhythm! Nice touch and feel on your left hand for both parts of the song! For Someday My Prince Will Come, maybe you can bring in a bit more expression in the right hand melody. For the Mickey Mouse March part, if your right hand can reflect the punchy and syncopated feel of your left hand, it would be perfect!

Leeroy: Maybe you can add in some accents for the right hand's melody? Very nice and precise pedal work!

All in all, awesome performance. Keep it up!

Maybe for the longer phrases, you can try varying or building up the Aftertouch while holding down the note to make it sound more expressive. The VA voices of the Custom work great for that.

Ya lor ya lor, I've heard of his fascinating pedal work when he was here in Singapore some 20 years ago, and it was very fortunate for me to witness it that night.
Btw, you perform very well too. Do you have any video of your performance available? Send me a copy and I will upload it to this vblog asap. It will surely be an inspiration to my follow students.
